“Life Is Suffering”- Buddha

Michael meant more to his family than he ever understood. To his friends, he was a jokester and prankster. His heart, though big and full, was also his greatest weakness as he struggled to show it. He would always ask us “who is your favorite brother?” If I had ten brothers, I’m sure he would still be our favorite! As per Michael’s request, he wanted to be cremated, mixed with his wife Donna’s ashes along with his fur babies, Max, Bear and Zavannah. Michael will be laid to rest, per his request, under a beautiful tree and also with his paternal grandmother, Genevieve Konopka in California. She was his life long protector and friend.

Michael lived in Chicago most of his life then moved to Trenton, Tennessee in 2016. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. following our father’s footsteps who served in the Korean War. Semper Fi!

Find out what makes you kinder, what opens you up and brings out the most loving, generous and unafraid version of you-and go after those things as if nothing else matters. Because, actually, nothing else does.” - Nick Offerman

Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Genevieve Konopka, father, Joseph Richard Cordova, wife,Donna Cordova and Furbabies Mia, Max, Bear and Zavannah.

He is survived by his sisters, Kimberly Cordova (Bjorklund), Darlene Cordova (Carchedi), Joanne Cordova (Kousnetz) and Deborah Cordova (Strejc) and nieces and nephews, Ian Cordova, Bradley Simons, Alexia Kousnetz, Savanah Kousnetz, Riannah Strejc and Deven Strejc.
