Brenda Jane (Ray) Henry

Brenda Ray Henry, age 72, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Milan General Hospital in a Milan, Tennessee.

She was born on March 28, 1950 in Humboldt, Tennessee to the late Finis J. Ray and Opal Vaughn Ray. Brenda was a former business owner, photographer, and P.A. for James “Little Bit” Garrett. She loved country music.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hooten; three brothers, James Ray, Jack Ray and Donald “Hard Head” Ray; and great grandson, Michael Hooten.

She is survived by her companion and other half of sixteen years, Jesse Garrett; two daughters, Robbie Ray Thornton and her husband Chris of Murray Bridge SA, Australia and Sheri Sweatt and her husband Donald of Dyer, Tennessee; sister, Patty Jo Ray Kelley; four grandchildren, Justin Spindler, Finis Hooten and his wife Kristen, Ayla Roberts and her husband Ethan, and Jessica Holland and her husband Cody; and eleven great grandchildren, Rylan Spindler, Cali Holley, Carson Holley, Avalee Holland, Zoe Hooten, Catlyn Hooten, Taylor Hooten, Finis Hooten, Jr., Christian Hooten,  Gunner Hooten and Baby Roberts.
