Mr. Donald Gibson, age 56, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

He was born on June 19, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John T. Gibson and Dorothy Mills Gibson.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Gibson.

He is survived by two sons, DJ Gibson (Raven) of Gulf Shores, Alabama and Trevor Matthews (Breanna) of Birmingham, Alabama; two brothers Jerry Gibson (Teresa) of Humbodlt, Tennessee and John Gibson (Tammy) of Milan, Tennessee; sister, Debbie Gibson of Union City, Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Kayden Matthews and Owen Matthews.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 2, 2023 in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home with Don McCurley officiating. Burial will follow at Concord C. P. Church Cemetery in Trenton, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
