Gary Forsythe, age 64, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at his home in Humboldt, Tennessee.

He was born on July 20, 1957 in Humboldt, Tennessee to Helen Davis and the late Jimmy Forsythe. Gary loved his family and grandchildren and lived for them. He enjoyed off-road riding in the mountains and taking road-trips with Tommy and Kelly Forsythe.

In addition to his father, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Forsythe.

He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Susan Forsythe of Humboldt, Tennessee; son, Cody Forsythe and his wife Jessica of Medina, Tennessee; daughter, Mandy Olson and her husband Eli of Gibson, Tennessee; three brothers, Jimmy Forsythe of Beech Bluff, Tennessee, Jessie Forsythe of Gadsden, Tennessee and David Forsythe of Milan, Tennessee; sister, Kelly Brown of Dayton, Tennessee; and eight grandchildren, Alivia Olson, Garrett Olson, Coldyn Forsythe, Thomas Chenoweth, Dustin Forsythe, Kendal Forsythe, Kelsy Forsythe and Skyler Forsythe.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 17, 2022 in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home with Marquise Evans officiating and burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home and again on Sunday from 1:00 P.M.  until the service hour.
