James "Jim" Keen

Jim was born on September 4, 1959, in Jackson, Tennessee to the late Leslie L. Keen and Mary E. Keen. Jim passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2024, in the care of hospice at the home of his caring niece, Kelly Fowler and her husband Russ.

If you had the privilege of knowing Jim, you knew he always had a listening ear and a warm embrace. He will be remembered for his love of his family, friends and pets. Jim loved being outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He fought the good fight and finished the race.

To cherish his memory, Jim leaves behind his wife, Doris Pendergrass Keen of Medina; daughter, Misty Williams and husband Merle of St. Augustine, Florida; granddaughter, Abigail of St. Augustine, Florida; sisters, Carol Warren and husband Terry of Pinson and Mary Birmingham and husband Randy of Jackson; brothers, Les Keen and wife Becky of Henderson, David Keen and wife Sharon of Jackson and Donald Keen and wife Jan of Jackson.

Other survivors include many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends and beloved coworkers who loved him dearly.

A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 PM. until 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the home of Russel and Kelly Fowler, 580 Liberty Claybrook Rd Beech Bluff, TN 38313
