Jean Smith

Mrs. Jean A. Smith age 70 of Jackson, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023, at her residence.

She was born July 7, 1952, in Humboldt to the late Thurman Eugen Patterson and Nellie "Petty" Naola Patterson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Diffee.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Margo and Chad Walker. Other survivors include four grandchildren, Chase Walker and wife Hope, Miller Walker, Tanner Walker and Morgan Walker as well as three great grandchildren, Scout Carkuff, Shiloh Hardin and Sully Carkuff.

Private family graveside services will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Rose Hill Cemetery. A reception for family and friends will be Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Mrs. Smith's residence.
