Joyce Marie Church

A life well lived! In the evening of August 13, 2024, Joyce Church slipped free of the worries of this world. She was 84 years old and surrounded by family at her home in Humboldt, TN. 

 Mrs. Church was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby; son, Monte; parents, Frank and Mayme Tipton; grandson, Riley Clyce; and brothers, Frank and Wilburn Tipton. 

 She is survived by a brother, Floyd Tipton of Dumas, Tx.; five children, Randy(Lisa) Church, Cody Church, Bobby Church, Cari(Rick) Erven and Shari Church(Mike Clyce); numerous grandchildren, Michael(Ashley) Church, Katie Church, Autumn(David) Hensley, Dustin Church, Amanda(Dustin)Walls, Gracey Church, Kevin(Rachel) Barger, Kodie Thompson, Kyler Thompson, Kambridge Thompson, Kasey Thompson, Izabelle Clyce, Max Clyce, Dallas Erven, Kenton Erven, Reni Erven; eight great grandchildren, Braelynn, Taeghan and Rowan Hensley, Jackson Church, Braden and Chloe Mynatt, Layna Church and Heidi Barger. 

 Mrs. Church faithfully served many years as the piano player at Calvary Baptist Church in Humboldt, TN. Mama also served as Sunday school teacher and Vacation Bible School worker.

 She retired from Sears and worked at the Humboldt Public Library.

 Nana was known by all as a loving, kind and loyal woman of God. Her home was always a warm and comforting place for friends and family.

 Heaven rejoiced a Proverbs 31 woman today.

 There will be a memorial service at Calvary Baptist in Humboldt, TN on August 24, 2024, at 10:00 am.

 The family will welcome friends to come celebrate Mama’s “going home”.
