Mary Ann Hatcher Armstrong

Mary Ann Hatcher Armstrong, age 80, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born on August 26, 1940 in Gibson, Tennessee to the late Roy "Tommy" Hatcher and Dorothy Mae Hatcher. Mary graduated from Milan High School in 1959. She was a career nurse having graduated from the Memphis School of Nursing in 1964. As the wife of a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, she served as a medical professional at numerous posts prior to her retirement in 1999.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Wayne Hatcher and her sister, Wanda Gail Quinn.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Charles Robert Armstrong; two sons, James Roy Armstrong (Rissa) and Michael Patrick Armstrong (Bonnie); two sisters, Patsy Joyce Hughes and Donna Susan Taylor (Lynn); and two grandchildren, Logan O' Neal Armstrong and Alyssa Lauren Armstrong.

Mary will be greatly missed by all.
