She was born on May 9, 1943 in Berrien County, Michigan to the late Walter Gonser and Betty Brady Gonser.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Tammy Barnes and her husband Greg of Humboldt, Tennessee; sister, Carol Ann Dunn and her husband Charles of Michigan; four grandchildren, Adam Piggott, Benjamin Piggott, Jessica Rogers, and Stephanie Knoght; and several great grandchildren.
