Nell Laverne Turner

Mrs. Nell Turner, age 98, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 in Jackson, Tennessee.

She was born on November 4, 1921 in Kennett, Missouri to the late Jim Crum and Mae Newton Crum.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Turner; son, Roy Turner; daughter, Linda Murchison; two brothers, Charlie Crum and Leon Crum; two sisters, Velma Page and Reba McGregor; and granddaughter, Misty Ballard.

Mrs. Nell is survived by her sister, Joyce Jaques of Orange, Texas; two grandchildren, Brad Cook (Heather) of Medina, Tennessee and Angela Cox of Jackson, Tennessee; five great grandchildren, Kyle Cox (Callie), Ross Ballard (Ashlee), Hannah Goodgine (Blake), Chloe Cook and Rachel Haynes; and one great-great grandchild, Blakely Goodgine.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Hopewell Cemetery in Medina, Tennessee with Bro. Chris Smith officiating.
