Norene Courtney Rainey, age 91, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in Milan, Tennessee.

She was born on May 21, 1931 in Carroll County to the late Ben S. Courtney and Lilly Kay Courtney.

In addition to her parents, Norene was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Rainey; two brothers, Meriul Courtney and Harwood Courtney; three sisters, Mary Jo Bryant, Dathel Brown and Alice Houston.

She is survived by her four sons, Jimmy Rainey and his wife Joan of McKenzie, Tennessee, Ben Rainey and his wife Connie of Milan, Tennessee, Ricky Rainey and his wife Laura of Cedar Grove, Tennessee and Tim Rainey of Milan, Tennessee; brother, Russell Courtney and his wife Peggy of Milan, Tennessee; and twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
