Prentice Durwood Worley

Durwood Worley, age 81, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at his home in Martin, Tennessee.

He was born on August 6, 1942, in Tennessee to the late Ernest Clifton Worley and Lucy Clara Craig Worley.

In addition to his parents, Durwood was preceded in death by his three brothers, Kenneth Worley, Austin Worley and E C Worley and two sisters, Winnie Grimes and Charm Segerson.

He is survived by his wife, Maria S. Worley of Martin and two sons, Craig Worley (Rizza) of Murfreesboro and Prentice David Worley of Martin.

A funeral service will held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Gardner Methodist Church in Martin, Tennessee with Darrell Worley and Franklin Gardner officiating and burial to follow at Tansil Cemetery in Sharon, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the service hour on Tuesday at the church.
