Robert Jones, Jr., age 65, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at his home in Jackson, Tennessee after a heroic battle with Frontotemporal Dementia and Aphasia.

He was born on July 9, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Robert Henry Jones, Sr. and Betty Ann Clark Jones.

Robert enjoyed marathon running, lifting weights, hiking, cycling, kayaking, riding dirt bikes, archery, and birding. He loved attending church, art and history museums, concerts, and had an appreciation for blown glass and mosaics.  It delighted Robert to encourage and lift others up.  He had a very strong dedication to his family, community, and civic involvement. Robert’s innate ability to seek out the positive in every situation inspired and drew others to him.

Robert is survived by his wife, Suzanne Jones of Jackson, Tennessee; son, Robert Clark, Jr. of New Mexico; daughter, Kendel Nicole Jones of Austin, Texas; brother, James Jones of Virginia; and sister, Kelly Sharp of Kansas.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
