Wayne "Skeeter" Hamby, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in Jackson, Tennessee.

He was born on March 27, 1948, in Munford to the late Robert E. Hamby and Margaret Franks Hamby.

In addition to his parents, Skeeter was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia A. Hamilton and Janice F. Hammond.

He is survived by his partner of nineteen years, David Higgins of Jackson, Tennessee and sister, Betty S. Peeples and her husband Jim of Grenada, Mississippi.
