Ruby Virginia Cherry

Ruby “Virginia” Cherry, 88 of Trenton, formally of Kenton, Tn went to her Heavenly home on April 5, 2024, from the Dyer Nursing Home. 

Virginia was the daughter of the late William (Red) and Polkie Coday, She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Trenton, TN.  She loved Jesus, loved to entertain and cook.

She was the widow of Thomas Cherry and preceded in death by her sisters Mary Lee Coday and Diana Bray, her brother William Coday Jr., brother-in-law Billy Betts and her beloved granddaughter Nicole Fipps.

Virginia was survived by her daughter Sue Fipps, of Kenton, TN.  Her Son Steve (Tammy) Cherry also of Kenton.  Grandson Austin Fipps of Nashville, TN, granddaughters Brooke (Jody) Carrell of Trenton, Michelle (Brandon) of Jackson, TN., great grandchildren, Ethen (of Clarksville, TN), Essey, and Zeke Carrell and Izzie Jones all of Trenton. Two sisters Margaret (Billy) King of Clarksville, TN and Margie Betts of Charlotte, NC and one brother Jerry (Cindy) Coday of Clarksville, TN.
