Ruth Ann Mize

Ruth Ann Mize, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in Martin, Tennessee.

She was born on September 4, 1936, in Carroll County to the late Charlie Newbill and Lillie Burns Newbill.

In addition to her parents, Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. Mize and her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Timothy N. Newbill of Memphis and William J. Mize of Greenville; daughter, LuAnn Grittner and husband Dennis of Sharon; two grandchildren, Neal Newbill and Abbey Robertson and husband Gage; and one great granddaughter, Sophie Robertson.

As requested by Ruth Ann, there are no services scheduled.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Ruth Ann's honor.
