Sam Anderson, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born on February 10, 1952 in Waverly, Tennessee to the late Samuel Edgar Anderson and Sophia Henby Anderson.

Sam is survived by his wife, Sandra Anderson of Martin; son, Joey Anderson of Martin; daughter, Emily Lemonds and her husband Kenny of Martin; and three sisters, Linda Forrest and her husband Randy of Franklin, Peggy Triplett and her husband Sam of Dickson and Mary Anderson of Dickson.

Other survivors include four grandchildren, Ava Anderson, Mya Anderson, Nora Anderson and Jude Lemonds.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, August 25, 2023 at the First United Methodist Church in Martin.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the church on Friday.
