Mr. Anthony Nolan "Tony" Griffin age 69 of Bells, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023, at his residence.

He was born October 4, 1953, in Humboldt to the late Samuel Griffin and Myrtice Ward Griffin. He was a truck driver retired from Overnite Transportation and worked for Pictsweet.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-one years, Pam Gideon Griffin of Bells; daughter, April Griffin of Bells; two sons, Anthony Griffin, Jr. and wife Alisha of Gadsden and Parrish Griffin and wife C.J. of Beech Bluff; two brothers, Troy Griffin and wife Mary Jo of Bells and Johnny Griffin and wife Diane of Gadsden; two sisters, Nancy Mayfield of Gadsden and Joyce Overton and husband Albert of Dresden. Other survivors include three grandchildren, Kirsten Griffin, Eve Kizer and husband Mason and Lexi Griffin as well as one great grandchild, Sawyer Kizer.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Griffin will be conducted Friday, August 18, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Walnut Hill Baptist Church with the pastor, Bro. Grover Westover officiating. The Griffin family will receive friends on Friday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour at 3:00 p.m.
