Wanda Lou Williams

Wanda Lou Williams, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

 

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. graveside at Rose Hill Cemetery of Humboldt, Tennessee.

 

Mrs. Wanda was born in Humboldt, Tennessee on February 5, 1950 to the late Kelca Grooms and Hailey Hill Grooms.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Hancock; one daughter, Daphne Maitland (Charles); one brother, Steve Grooms; two sisters, Betty Tasker and Rebecca Moncier.

 

She is survived by her son, Joe Hancock of Humboldt; two brothers, Bobby Grooms of Trenton and Jimmy Grooms of Jackson; two grandsons, Allen Hancock (Jerry) of Milan and Austin Hancock (Moriah) of Humboldt; granddaughter, Alexis Victory (Cody) of Nashville; and great grandson, Eli Hancock of Humboldt.

 

Mrs. Wanda is a kind soul, and she filled any space in which she resided with laughter and love. Her charm and charisma inspired the love and devotion of many. She was and still is a beacon of light to all that love her. In great sadness, she is laid to rest, but in great joy, she finds her way to everlasting, blissfulness and comfort with our Lord Jesus Christ in heaven. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
