Waylon Wilder Wyatt, 33, died on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, TN. Born February 28, 1987 in Jackson, TN, Waylon was an electrician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
A ‘daredevil’ by nature, he had a passion for speed; from his love of skateboarding as a child, to driving most anything with a motor and wheels throughout his teen and adult years. He enjoyed the outdoors and always had his dog, “Champ” somewhere close by.
Affectionately called “Way-Way” by those closest to him, he had a huge heart and soft spot for children, especially his stepdaughter Allison, and nephew Casey.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Tony Wallace and Lloyd Ragan.
Waylon leaves his parents, Tonie Wallace Frentzel and Matt Frentzel; brothers Will Wyatt and Logan Frentzel; estranged wife, Ashley Wyatt and stepdaughter, Allison Black; nephew, Casey Frentzel; grandmother, Nellie Ragan; and many other friends and family that held a special place in his heart.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at the Malesus Baptist Church, 480 Old Malesus RD, Jackson, TN with Ronnie Ragan, Waylon’s uncle, officiating. Waylon’s family will receive friends at the Malesus Baptist Church 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Jude or Methodist Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Waylon’s memory.
