Carroll Lee Sloan, age 69, departed this life on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born in Humboldt, Tennessee on January 6, 1950 to the late Johnnie Mathews and Jessie Carroll Mathews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Sloan; brother, Johnnie Mathews, Jr.; and sister, Jane Allen.

Carroll is survived by her two daughters, Carrolline (Bryan) Barnett and Annie (Joseph) Bradley; sister, Gloria Bates; brother-in-law, Rodney Allen; three grandchildren, Nicholas Barnett, Haylee Barnett and Aaron Bradley; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Humboldt Church of Christ at a later date.
