Chris Close, age 47, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020 surrounded by family at his home in Jackson, Tennessee.

He was born on September 10, 1972 in Sayre, Pennsylvania to John C. Close, III and the late Frances A. Jennings.

Chris has lived in Tennessee the last twenty-three years. He retired from the United States Army and was a former member of the K & M Range. Chris also was an avid outdoorsman and family man.

In addition to his father, Chris is survived by his wife, Brandi Close; three sons, Dakota Close, Tyler Neuhaus (Kasie Beene) and Taylor Neuhaus (Nicole); sister, Dawn Linenbroker (Jesse); and three grandchildren, Paislee Neuhaus, Liam Neuhas and Avery Neuhaus.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to their sons college fund.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
