Mrs. Jo Ann Scott, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her home in Humboldt, Tennessee.

She was born on June 28, 1935 in Greenville, North Carolina to the late John Timberlake and Fannie Owens Timberlake. Mrs. Jo Ann Scott loved her church family and was loved by her friends dearly. She was always active until she could not be anymore.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her son, John Scott.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Scott, Jr.; daughter, Pamela Dietz and husband, Dr. Bernie Dietz of Humboldt, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Judy Scott of Crestview, Florida; eight grandchildren, Keisha, Nicole, Crystal, Kelsey, Sharlee, Eric, Bethany and JT; and nineteen great grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M, Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Humboldt, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until the service hour.
