Mrs. Joyce Byrd, age 72, entered heaven on Monday, October 26, 2020 at her home in Alamo, Tennessee after a very short battle with cancer.

She was born on January 7, 1948 to the late Philip and Addene Jackson. After three short months of dating, she married the love of her life , Jody Byrd, on April 22, 1969. Joyce loved her family, friends and the Lord. She loved being "Nana" to her grandchildren. She loved to play cards and board games with her family, especially Aggravation. Joyce's life of was a living example of her family's favorite Bible verse, Philippians 4:13- "I can do all things though Christ who strengthens me."

Joyce is survived by her husband, Jody Byrd; two children, Karon Byrd and Kathy Byrd; two brothers, Kenny (Lindel) Jackson and Wayne Jackson; four grandchildren, Gregg Duckworth, Alison Duckworth, Ty Riley and Drew Riley.

Please join the family in a graveside service at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Alamo City Cemetery with Bro Stephen Sutton officiation.
