Mrs. Margarette Long, age 99, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at her home in Jackson, Tennessee.

She was born on October 13, 1921 in Madison County to the late Ivy Forsythe and Bertha Crawford Forsythe.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Margarette was preceded in death by her husband, William Ernest Long and all of her siblings.

She is survived by her son, Frank Long and his wife Anne of Jackson, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Jessica Heinz and her husband Eric of Memphis, Tennessee, Frank Long of Jackson, Tennessee, Andrea Driggers and her husband Wayne of Jackson, Tennessee and William Andrew Long and his wife Taylor of Henderson, Tennessee; and six grandchildren, Henry Heinz, Joseph Heinz, William Heinz, Lawson Driggers, Nora Driggers and Luna Lynn Long.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Harris Grove United Methodist Church in Jackson, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Harris Grove United Methodist Church.
