Michael Pyles

Michael Rodney Pyles age 74 of Milan, Tennessee, passed away on December 26, 2020 at Jackson Madison County Hospital.

He was born on August 17, 1946 in Memphis, Tennessee to Louise Stewart Pyles and late W.G. Pyles.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two stepsons, Randy Lumley and Jimmy Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Janice; one son, Michael Todd Pyles of Bolivar; one stepson, Wayne Lumley of Medina; six step daughters, Linda Abbott of Medina, Tammy Powell of Milan, Rena Moore of Arkansas, Tonya Elmore of Atoka, Stephanie Hancock of Savannah and Shelby Hodges of Jackson; two brothers, Richard Pyles of Washington and Steve Pyles of South Carolina; and one sister, Amelia McCarver of Medon. Other survivors include nineteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mr. Pyles will be conducted on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at New Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
