Peggy Joyce (Horton) Clark

Peggy Joyce Clark, 88 of Bells, TN, passed away at Bells Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bells, TN on May 21, 2023. She was born on September 30, 1934, to the late Aaron and Dola Horton.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, Larry Neal Clark, Sr.; two sons, Barry Lynn Clark and Timothy Joe Clark; grandson, Nathan Daniel Clark; and son-in-law, Eric Kimble Polier. Peggy is survived by two children, Larry Neal Clark, Jr. (Mary Anne) of Bells, TN and Sandee Clark Polier (Brian Morris) of Clarksville, TN; four grandchildren, Brian Neal Clark, Stephanie Clark Allen (Todd), James Thomas Polier, Blossom Danielle Herendeen (Bobby) as well as eleven great-grandchildren, Hali, Brent, Lance (McKenzie), Jacob, Chloe, Karleigh, Jason, Lexie, Kialey, Elsie, and Theo.  She is also survived by three sisters, Nancy White, Brenda Hobock both of Bells, TN and Judy Krouse (Larry) of Oxford, MS; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Peggy had a long career as a beautician. She created beautiful and intricate needlework and enjoyed knitting as well. Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family. She and her late husband, Larry, were faithful members of Midway Baptist Church where they served for many years.

Visitation with the Clark family will be held at Midway Baptist Church on Saturday morning, May 27, 2023, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. A graveside service will follow at Cypress Community Church Cemetery at 12:30 pm. with Bro. Mike Meredith officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Midway Baptist Church, 5288 Old Jackson Rd, Bells, TN or Cypress Community Church Cemetery Fund, 539 Cypress Church Rd, Bells, TN.
