Rebecca Story, age 54 of Jackson, passed away Friday, February 4, 2023 after a long illness.

She was born on December 27, 1968 in Jackson, Tennessee to Edward Story and Barbara Flake Hughes.

She is survived by her mother, Barbara Hughes  of Jackson; stepfather, Kenneth Hughes of Parsons; sister, Vickie Beecher and her husband Terry of Cullman, Alabama; brothers, Steven Story and his wife Loretta of Jackson and Tim Hughes and his wife Lauren of Newport, Kentucky; children, Traci Thomas and her husband Jason of Jackson and Jonah LaPoint of Jackson; and four grandchildren, Nevaeh, Hayden, Asjah and Able.

A private celebration of life will be held by the family.
