Mrs. Rita Joyce Gage Goodman passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born June 19, 1963 in Humboldt to the Gwendolyn Faulkner Cobb and the late Robert Gage.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Robert Gage; sister, Gwendolyn Carroll as well as a grandchild, Wyatt Burton.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Goodman of Jackson; daughter, Becky Joe Barham and husband Reggie of Henderson; son Bobby Burton and wife Latoya of Jackson; mother, Gwendolyn Faulkner Cobb; brother, Robert Lee Gage of Jackson; three sisters, Alice Hill of Milan, Rosie Gage of Oklahoma and Shelia Gage of Jackson. Other survivors include seven grandchildren, Shane, Nathan, Dawson, Andrew, Paris, Lakelynn and Bobby.

Graveside services for Mrs. Goodman will be conducted Monday, December 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Pond Creek Cemetery in Alamo with Donnie Faulkner and Bro. Brent Daniel officiating and burial to follow.
