Roberta Sanford

Mrs. Roberta Laverne Sanford age 87 of Medina, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at her residence.

She was born November 28, 1935 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Marion Robert Miller and Helen Tanner Miller. Mrs. Sanford was a retired steel mill worker from Bethlehem Steel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Sondra Todd and Brian Todd as well as nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Gene Sanford of Medina; three sons, Thomas Todd and wife Tina, Robin Todd and wife Carol and Robert Todd and wife Phyllis all of Jackson; five daughters, Patricia Kerley, Tammy Dickson, Debbie Comer, Melissa Williams and Tabitha Holden all of North Carolina; two brothers, Wayne Miller of Texas and Doug Miller of Indiana; four sisters, Darla Wren of Missouri, La Della Bonczek of Indiana, Billi McEwen of Minnesota and Vicky Zernik of Texas. Other survivors include numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A memorial gathering to celebrate the life of Mrs. Sanford will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home.
