Rodger Byrd, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Milan General Hospital.
He was born on May 9, 1960 in Alabama to the late Freeman Byrd and Una Massey.
In addition to his parents, Rodger was preceded in death by his son, Jamie McDonald.
Rodger is survived by his wife, Mary Byrd of Milan, Tennessee; two sons, Eddie Byrd and his wife Jennifer of Milan, Tennessee and David Rinks and his wife Amber of Milan, Tennessee; daughter, Christina Byrd of Milan, Tennessee; sister, Wilba Miller of Alabama; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Selina McDonald of Trezevant, Tennessee.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In honor of Rodger's request, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
