Ruby Ferge

Mrs. Ruby Thompson Ferge age 92 of Somerville, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 in AHC Somerville.

She was born August 15, 1928 in Fayette County to the late George and Lilly White Thompson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Jack Ferge; son, Kenneth Ferge; daughter, Helen Faye Ferge; sisters, Vaudie Cannon, Effin Hames and Alvie Cannon; brothers, Lester Thompson, Clifton Thompson, Herbert Hamm and J C Hamm; grandchild, Jessica Faye Ferge.

Survivors include one son, Lester Ray Ferge of Whiteville; sister, Louise Pittman of Somerville; brother, S T Thompson of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Kenny Ferge and wife Renee, Bobby Ferge and Leah Sanders all of Somerville. Other survivors include seven great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs. Ferge will be conducted Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. David Reeves officiating and burial to follow.
