Big Sandy

Sandra L. Trinosky Cross, age 62 of Big Sandy, TN, formerly of Humboldt, TN passed away in the early morning hours on March 16, 2023 in the comfort of her home with the love and presence of her family by her side.

Sandy was born in Gary, IN on April 13, 1961 to the late Merv & Joyce Trinosky, residing in Indiana until moving with family to Tennessee in 1973.

As was all of her siblings and her father, Sandy was an engineer. She very much enjoyed working along side all of them for the company her parents started called M&D Drafting & Design Co.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Mervin W. Trinosky and Joyce A. Trinosky of Humboldt, TN. Her late husband and love of her life, Gregory E. Cross, whom she loved and missed beyond words since his passing in 2017. Also by her sister, Patricia A. Coffman. A brother, David W. Trinosky. Two half brothers, Jake (Butch) & Terry Trinoksy and lastly one honorary brother, Harry Bruce.

Surviving family are two sisters, Ramona Arnold of Gadsden, TN and Lona Trinosky of Trenton, TN. She was a loving mother to two daughters, Reneé Thacker and Patricia Powell both of Big Sandy, TN. One son, Richard W. Thacker of Trenton, TN. Two step children, Angela Williams of Milan, TN and Derrick Cross of Trenton, TN. Four grandchildren, Melanie Epperson and Shawn Epperson both of Medina, TN. Chloe Thacker & Cashius Thacker both of Trenton, TN. One perfect great granddaughter, Adley Balderrama of Medina, TN. Plus so many cousins, nieces, nephews, all of which she loved and cherished all the same as her own kids.

The family invites family and friends to come help celebrate a one in a million, awesome woman as we say our final goodbye to her. Services are Saturday, March 25, 2023 @ 5 p.m. @ First United Pentecostal Church in Humboldt, TN with graveside services following at Gibson Memorial Gardens in Gibson, TN
