Mrs. Sandra Elaine Kirkland Campbell, "Sandy", passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born April 13, 1963 in Brownsville to the late Eugene and Billie Whorton Kirkland. Mrs. Campbell worked at Haywood Park Hospital for many years as an emergency room receptionist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kelvin "Red" Campbell.

Survivors include three sons, Justin Hill and wife Kimberly of Bells, Cortney Campbell and wife Stephanie of Buna, Tx and Scott Campbell and wife Casey of Whiteville; sister, Barbara Hayes and husband David of Brownsville; brother, Roger Kirkland and wife Tonya of Bells. Other survivors include six grandchildren, Alyssa Campbell, Cayden McBride, Jace Hill, Kyler Hill, Aubrey Campbell and Lillian Waddell. She was also expecting two grandchildren in February of 2023, Sienna Campbell and Anzleigh Campbell.

Honorary pallbearers are Jace Hill, Cayden McBride and Kyler Hill.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Campbell will be conducted on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Community Church in Hillville with Roger Kirkland officiating. The family will receive friends at Mt. Pleasant on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. noon until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery fund.
