Valerie "Val" (Brooks) Haynes

Valerie Robin Haynes, "Val" age 42 of Medina, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 17, 1981, in Union City to Robert and Brenda Capps Brooks.

Val graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Development. Later she became a Registered Dental Assistant at FMY Orthodontics after being a social worker and bereavement counselor for West Tennessee Healthcare. Val enjoyed the outdoors including camping and boating. She loved spending time with her children and family. Val was filled with unconditional love and was always trying to help others and putting them before herself. She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Journey Church. Val is survived by her husband of twenty-one years, however been inseparable for twenty-six years, Todd Haynes of Medina; children, Addisson Haynes and Chase Haynes both of Medina; parents, Robert and Brenda Capps Brooks of Medina as well as two special cousins, Darla Brown and Collin Capps both of Jackson.

A celebration of Val's life will be held at Journey Church on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. The time will be announced once it becomes available.
