He was born on April 20, 1943 in Kenton, Tennessee to the late Grady Whitworth and Lucille Whitworth.
Waymon is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Cheryl Whitworth of Rutherford, Tennessee; three sons, Glenn Whitworth of Rutherford, Tennessee, Timothy Whitworth (Teresa) of Greenfield, Tennessee and Keith Whitworth of Rutherford, Tennessee; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
